BMO and Xignite Collaboration Wins 2015 Inside Reference Data Award
Last night the who's who of the market data and reference data community gathered at New York's Marriott Marquis for the annual Inside Market Data and Inside Reference Data awards ceremony. Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg took home the bulk of the data provider awards, but the surprise of the night was fintech challenger Xignite beating out Polar Lake to take take home the award for Best Enterprise Data Management Initiative for their work on the BMO Skyway project.
BMO’s deployment of Xignite Enterprise, known as BMO Skyway, works to centralize, distribute and optimize access to market and reference data collected from vendors in the cloud and provide employees and downstream systems with easy access to that data. Xignite created a centralized access point, allowing the company to expose their catalogue of market pricing and reference data, giving users the ability to pull data into portals, proprietary in-house systems and applications.
