Xignite’s brokerage, wealth, and media customers can take advantage of the depth and breadth of data offered by this API to increase the value and stickiness of their services to digital investors.

The new cryptocurrency API, XigniteCrypto, offers aggregated real-time and historical quotes, snapshots with Open, High, Low, Close, Volume, historical data since 2013, and current crypto-related news headlines from around the globe. Xignite's crypto data is licensed from CryptoCompare, a leading digital asset market data and index provider for institutional and retail investors.

Xignite APIs are cloud-native and offer a robust selection of use case-based endpoints. These endpoints are ready-to-use pieces of code that developers can easily integrate into their product or app, regardless of type, amount, or frequency of data, without the need for any complex integration logic. The available XigniteCrypto endpoints are:

• GetQuotes returns an aggregated real-time quote for single or multiple cryptos across multiple crypto exchanges.
• GetHistoricalQuoteRange returns an aggregate historical quote for single crypto for a given date range.
  
• GetHistoricalQuotes returns a summarized 24 hour historical quote for single or multiple cryptos across multiple exchanges for a requested date and fixing time.
• GetTopCryptoHeadlines returns recent headlines for selected cryptos. Headlines can be filtered by excluding specified categories and by choosing a given start time.
• GetTopMarketHeadlines returns the most recent specified number of market headlines. Headlines can be filtered by excluding specified categories and by choosing a given start time.
• GetReferenceData returns user specified reference data points for single or multiple cryptos.
