Xignite launched its first ESG API back in April 2022 in collaboration with leading ESG data provider ESGBook (pka Arabesque). Ever since, we have seen growing interest from our clients in providing ESG data to their clients or users.
Long-time Xignite client and global brokerage poster child eToro has been leading the pack on providing access to ESGBook’s ESG data. Over 30 million registered eToro users can now consider ESG factors when making investment decisions. The ESG initiative arose from an extensive survey conducted by eToro with 10,000 customers back in June.
