To fully evaluate historical stock performance, perform backtesting or historical charting, you will need adjusted time series pricing data. Xignite’s Historical Stock Price API is a great solution for this. This API provides historical price data back to January 1, 2000, for equities trading on more than 80 global exchanges, and supports adjusted historical prices calculations for corporate actions such as Split, Cash Dividend, Extraordinary CashDividend, StockDividend, Rights, and Spinoff.

Suppose you want to see which stock tickers have updated historical prices. In that case, you can use the Get Adjustment Factors endpoint to retrieve a timeline of corporate action events that impact price adjustment along with calculated adjustment factors.
