Overview

This web service provides real-time NASDAQ Last Sale stock prices and trade data for US-listed stocks.

These real-time last sale stock prices are not user fee-liable and can be displayed on public web properties.

You can use XigniteNasdaqLastSale to get real-time last sale price and volume data for stocks traded on NASDAQ, NYSE, AMEX and OTC exchanges through web service. With XigniteNasdaqLastSale web service, you can:

  • Obtain last sale, open, high, low, and close information.
  • Request one or up to 5000 real-time quotes in a single web service request.
  • Create completely customized real-time charts of a security's intra-day activity.

This web service delivers on-demand stock data from NASDAQ Last Sale, a direct data feed product of NASDAQ OMX, which provides real-time last sale data for securities listed on NASDAQ, NYSE and Amex - including price, volume and time.

NASDAQ OMX is the gold data source for all U.S. equities. NASDAQ OMX executes more volume through its trading system than any other U.S. exchange.

  • NASDAQ's matched volume in NYSE-listed stocks in 2007 was a record high 142.3 billion shares, an increase from 64.5 billion shares in 2006.
