This web service supports the following operations:

ListSICCodesList SIC codes.
ListSECFilingTypesLists all the filings and submissions made with the SEC.
LookupCIKLookup a company CIK based on its name.
GetCIKReturn a company CIK based on its symbol.
SearchFilingsSearch the EDGAR database for company filings, including real-time filings.
GetFilingOccurrencesCounts the number of filing types by firm per period.
PredefinedQueryFilingsProvides fast query of filing information to all filing data for a company.
QueryFilingsSearch the EDGAR database for company filings, excluding real-time filings for the current day.
QueryMasterDocumentsThis operation is similar to the QueryFilings operation except than it returns the main document of each filing and skips all attachments.
GetLastFilingRetrieves the last filing for a specific type of form for a firm.
GetRecentFilingsList recent SEC filings (today to up to five days ago) for the most popular SEC forms (10-K, 10-Q...).
GetFilingAsTextRetrieves a specific Text filing.
GetFilingDetailsRetrieves a specific HTML filing and lists the documents it contains.
GetPDFDocumentReturns the content of a document as a PDF file.
ReadDocumentRetrieves the content of a specific file included in a filing.
GetSharesOutstandingReturns shares outstanding information extracted from the latest 10-Q or 10-K statements.
GetManagementOwnershipReturns management ownership information extracted from the latest proxy statement (Schedule 14A).
GetTotalAssetsReturns total asset information extracted from latest 10-Q or 10-K statements.

What's an operation?
