Nominated for FTF News Fintech Person of the Year and recently named to Institutional Investor's Tech 50 list of financial visionaries and innovators, Stephane Dubois is a recognized financial data industry executive who founded Xignite to pioneer market data in the cloud. Stephane Dubois is a well-known fintech thought leader and is frequently quoted in publications, including Forbes, MarketsMedia, WallStreet & Technology, Financial News, Bob's Guide, Inside Reference Data, and Venture Capital Journal. He has spoken at numerous fintech events around the world, including Finovate, FinDEVr, Bank Innovation, World Exchange Conf., World Finance Information Conf. and The Money Conference. Prior to founding Xignite, Stephane was Vice President of Product Management at Advent Software, the leading provider of software solutions for the investment management industry. Prior to Advent, Stephane held senior product and marketing management positions at Walker Interactive Systems and Oracle Corporation. Stephane holds an MS in Management from M.I.T. Sloan School of Management and MS and BS degrees in international management from the MBA Institute in Paris.
Al Chang is has experience leading engineering and professional services organizations in high-growth software companies and start-ups. Prior to joining Xignite, Al was head of engineering for partner solutions at Google, where he enabled global strategic partnerships by extending Google’s core product offerings and by establishing a 24x7 production operations infrastructure. As VP of Product Development for Advent Software, Al led the creation of an integrated portfolio management, accounting, and CRM solution built on a scalable Web architecture. Before Google and Advent, Al held senior management positions in engineering and professional services at TenFold Corporation, an enterprise applications company that he co-founded, reached nearly $100M in revenue, and went public. Al’s career began at Oracle in software engineering. He holds an MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BS in Biology, all from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Kerry Langstaff is an accomplished marketing executive with 20+ years of demonstrated success in executing integrated marketing programs that drive awareness, preference and pipeline. Most recently, Kerry was Vice President, Demand Generation at Return Path, where she spearheaded global demand generation strategy for the email intelligence company. Previously she held executive positions at HR outsourcing leader TriNet and IP geolocation provider Quova (now Neustar). She also has lead global channel marketing efforts at 3Com (now HP), Juniper Networks, and Cisco. Kerry earned the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) credential recognizing strategic communications masters and has received more than a dozen awards for her work in marketing and PR. @kerrylangstaff
Dr. Matt Purkeypile leads Xignite operations and support and is responsible for the Market Data cloud production systems and services, which serves more than 65 billion API requests per month. Prior to joining Xignite in 2007 after Series A funding, Matt held software engineering positions at Ingersoll-Rand, and Sony, where he was awarded the top paper within the company in 2003 for recovery software that saved millions of dollars a year. A veteran of the US Coast Guard Reserve, Matt holds 5 degrees, including a Doctor of Computer Science from Colorado Technical University and a MBA with a finance concentration from the University of Nebraska.
Dr. Qin Yu is an expert on financial market data and is the architect behind Xignite's Market Data Cloud. Qin is a leader in high performance and large scale systems. Prior to joining Xignite in 2007, he was senior software engineer at Kubi Software and Pragmatech Software. He holds MS and BS in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University and a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
